Shelly Strickler is a multi-award winning broadcast journalist who has worked for more than a quarter century at famed WOR Radio in New York City.
Shelly has accumulated more than 50 awards during her career including several from the prestigious New York Press Club, Associated Press and Women in Radio and TV. She recently was honored with the Press Club's President's Award for outstanding work in the field and community service.
She is an active member in the Press Club where she now serves as an awards judge.
Her professional affiliations include her current role as director, performer and writer of the Inner Circle, a NYC reporter's organization that produces a major annual musical satire for the Mayor of New York.
Shelly has received rave reviews for her lectures that weave her broadcast expertise into a view of the "media revolution."
She lives in Brooklyn, NY and Boynton Beach, FL with her husband Larry, an accomplished educator/entertainer/lecturer.
